Fifth graders at Bayview Elementary School are giving back to those in need this holiday season. The students participated in Operation Christmas Child, an organization that helps collect shoeboxes filled with toys for children in need all across the world. Students picked out gifts, filled and wrapped their boxes with toys for a specific age group. Students also had the option to write a letter to their recipient and receive a letter in return. The shoeboxes were then packed up during the end of November and will be shipped around the world.
